# Stone Dragon

Found at the end of The Great Hollow-Ash Lake path.

### Description

---

A stone dragon, descended from the Everlasting Dragons of the Age of Ancients. It is immortal and can not be killed in any way.

### Use

---

- Allows you to join the Path of the Dragon covenant and upgrade the covenant level by offering it Dragon scales.
- Cutting its tail nets you the Dragon Greatsword, one of the rare weapons.

### General Information

---

- Chopping off its tail will not break the Covenant or aggro it.
- The Lordvessel warp identifies its bonfire as "Stone Dragon."

### Tail cut

---

To cut off a tail it's necessary to deal a certain amount of damage against it. The HP of the tail increases with higher NG cycles and is based on the HP of the respective enemy.

Due to being immortal, the Stone Dragon can be used as a sandbag enemy for testing magic, ranged, and even melee damage for scaling purposes.
