These enemies are not particularly difficult when handled one-on-one, although they will run away from you if you take your time in getting close. Like other Skeletons in the Catacombs, they will return to life if you aren't using a weapon with a Divine buff, or haven't killed the specific Necromancer controlling them. Astora's Straight Sword works well if you don't have any divine upgrade weapons.
