</div>## Covenant achievements

It is not necessary to join a Covenant to unlock its corresponding achievement. You get it as soon as you select the 'Join Covenant' option.

It doesn't matter if you answer 'Yes' or 'No' after that, so you don't have to abandon your former covenant to get the achievement. However, you **will** need to join some covenants to get all Miracles/Pyromancies/Sorceries. (i.e., [Chaos Servant](https://darksouls.wiki/chaos-servant.html) for [Chaos Storm](https://darksouls.wiki/chaos-storm.html) and [Great Chaos Fireball](https://darksouls.wiki/great-chaos-fireball.html); [Gravelord Servant](https://darksouls.wiki/gravelord-servant.html) for [Gravelord Greatsword Dance](https://darksouls.wiki/gravelord-greatsword-dance.html) and [Gravelord Sword Dance](https://darksouls.wiki/gravelord-sword-dance.html); [Warrior of Sunlight](https://darksouls.wiki/warrior-of-sunlight.html) for [Sunlight Spear](https://darksouls.wiki/sunlight-spear.html), [Great Lightning Spear](https://darksouls.wiki/great-lightning-spear.html), and [Lightning Spear](https://darksouls.wiki/lightning-spear-miracle.html); and [Blade of the Darkmoon](https://darksouls.wiki/blade-of-the-darkmoon.html) for [Darkmoon Blade](https://darksouls.wiki/darkmoon-blade.html))

## Collection achievements

Four achievements require numerous items to be obtained. These are [Knight's Honor](https://darksouls.wiki/rare-weapons.html), [Wisdom of a Sage](https://darksouls.wiki/sorceries.html), [Bond of a Pyromancer](https://darksouls.wiki/pyromancies.html), and [Prayer of a Maiden](https://darksouls.wiki/miracles.html). The Prayer of a Maiden achievement **does not** require its respective spells to be collected on the same character. The remaining three achievements **do** require acquisition on a single character.

## Notes

All of the achievements/trophies that require the player to obtain certain weapons can be earned when the weapons are traded to you by another player - this includes all weapon ascension trophies and the Knight's Honor trophy.

## Bug Notes

As Dark Souls can be [quite buggy](https://darksouls.wiki/bugs.html), sometimes the trophy/achievement event flag is not registered correctly. For example, the 'Reach Anor Londo' trophy has a potential where it doesn't appear after you reach [Anor Londo](https://darksouls.wiki/anor-londo.html), or, the Bond of a Pyromancer won't appear even after you collect all [Pyromancies](https://darksouls.wiki/pyromancies.html). If this happens to you, try again in the next playthrough. If the trophy/achievement is of collection type, e.g., the aforementioned Bond of a Pyromancer, try to recollect all the items using new characters.
